Garbage pickup in Chuburna

This is a local business enterprise. In the village there isn't any garbage pickup as we know it. This leaves the door open for various community men to use their trucks for garbage pickup. People pay between two and five pesos per garbage bag.

It is sunny out today, and it feels nice and warm. One of the local Mayans tells us that another "el norte" will be here by this evening, one that should leave us with sunshine and relatively warm daytime temperatures but with reduced night time temperatures. This time the wind is coming out of the northwest and the sea has become a deep jade colour. Interesting.
